“I own an ipad 3 and my only concern with this iPad is that it can't play 1080p MKV files smoothly. I can play MKV files using avplayer HD, jailbroken of course. Since the new iPad 4 is not jailbreakable yet, I’m wanting to know will it have the power to play 1080p MKV smoothly. Everything about iPad 3 is enough for me, as i don’t do gaming, i only use my iPad for web browsing, watching movies, and reading book and magazines. I’m thinking to upgrade mine to iPad 4 if it could possibly play 1080p MKV smoothly
but if it still can't play it, i have no reason to upgrade. 720p on iPad 3 is working fine, but i love 1080p more, since the iPad's screen are able to shows the differences. ”
