If you are not of rank to recruit then this does not aply to you until you are^^
For officers who are recruiting new members, this post describes what to look for
things may change later when we look for more skilled players but right now we are looking for members who are eager to learn and teach new techniques.
1) Personality- You don't always have to duel someone in order to recruit them. Even when they are dueling, how the handle losing, or winning. If they are over all a nice person its ok to ask that they be recruited.
2)Style-If the player has a unique dueling style. Some players have tele patterns, some are erractic. Some use attacks to lure and others to kill. Strategies. They are good to have with us on the team.
3) Originality-Always be open to new ideas. If you see a player with an original character type( not a character you see every day) and they are the type of person who is a good mannered player and doesnt gloat that they pwn everyone, definatly recruit them. My cousin had a curse necro, and a holy bolt healerdin. They can be alot of fun to play and we love new ideas for characters.
4) Trust- Trust is a major issue with me and, I know, the C.O.(commanding officer). My brother got me into d2... but he quit because someone stole the bugged 2 skill arach he mfed himself. I've been scammed multiple times by people I would have trusted with my account. Now im on edge to let someone hold even the smallest items I may use. If there is a person you are good friends with, try to recruit them. dont give them a higher rank because they are your friend. That would be unfair to other players, but use the honor system, if they are good, promote, if they arent...well...dont.
those are just a few ideas on recruiting, if you have any other ideas post them here
